One of the easiest ways to get started working with dogs is to join a dog sitting or dog walking service. On a day-to-day basis, you get to interact with a variety of dogs in all breeds and sizes.
While there is a lot of responsibility because owners are trusting you to keep their pets safe from cars and sometimes other dogs, being a dog walker can be a fulfilling way to work with dogs while also staying in shape!
Long-Term Boarding
As much as they’d like to, dogs can’t always travel when their owners do. Sometimes it’s necessary to put up pets in a doggy hotel. A dog boarder is responsible for making sure the dog’s kennels are clean, that they are fed, and that they get attention and exercise during the day.
Groomer
Just like humans, a dog’s fur or hair needs to be cut and cleaned regularly to keep them clean and happy. Being a dog groomer can be a rewarding job working with dogs because not only do you get to make them look nice, you can also help them stay healthy.

Veterinarian
The emotional toll of being a veterinarian may be too much for some, but being able to help and even save a dog’s life can be deeply rewarding. While it takes extra training and investment, for the most dedicated dog lovers nothing beats working as a veterinarian.
